My experience at this shop wasn't without hiccups but I was very happy when I left. The guy who took down my old braids and washed my hair was friendly yet professional. We talked about the service I wanted and he got right on it.

The owner, Jenny, was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. She and I discussed my service and she made recommendations about the type of hair I should use for the style I wanted. And she was right!

Unfortunately, she did not work on my hair at all. But the lady who did braid my hair did an excellent job. Since I actually have micro locs, there was a bit of confusion at one point about what I wanted done with the locs, but it was cleared up quickly.

I haven't worn braids with extra hair in a really long time so I had a bit of sticker shock at the price I was quoted once we discussed everything I wanted/needed. But that was reduced once everyone understood what I actually wanted done, which was less than a full head of braids.

I was very satisfied with the care, service and style I received in the end. I would definitely recommend this salon....more
